WATER CURTAIN FIRE SPRINKLER
Water curtain sprinklers are the sprinklers fixed in the pipes of a water curtain system to continuously spray water to form a water curtain, protect fire-threatened surfaces and create fire separation.FOREDE-ZSTMB series single outlet water curtain sprinkler is a component of automatic or manual water curtain system. It is used as fire protection or partition and local protection cooling. Under normal circumstances, it is often used in conjunction with protective roller shutters and glass curtain walls. In particular, fire control and cooling protection are carried out in storage places such as liquefied petroleum and chemical products. Chrome coatings can be used to extend the life of the brass components used in Series ZSTM-A/ZSTM-B Sprinklers beyond that which would otherwise be obtained when exposed to corrosive atmospheres. Although coated sprinklers have passed the standard corrosion tests of the applicable approval agencies, the testing is not representative of all possible corrosive atmospheres. Consequently, it is recommended that the end-user be consulted with respect to the suitability of these corrosion resistant coatings for any given corrosive environment. The effects of ambient temperature, concentration of chemicals, and gas/chemical velocity, should be considered, as a minimum, along with the corrosive nature of the chemical to which the sprinklers will be exposed.
